Care Training

As a company we are dedicated to the belief that the health and safety of your employees is of paramount importance. Indeed the duty to provide a safe place of work is the most fundamental obligation that an employer has and training has a vital role to play in meeting that duty. It is for this reason that we have developed our own Training Centres.

In 2008, the Office for National Statistics published figures highlighting that there are now more pensioners in the UK than children under the age of sixteen. They also mentioned that the number of UK citizens over the age of eighty has doubled in the past three decades. These figures are set to increase rapidly during this century.

After considering these statistics, Stowan have designed a package of care courses to meet the care training needs of professionals, carers, ancillary staff and managers. We understand that each care setting is unique and can vary greatly e.g. the client’s own home, day centres, nursing homes, residential care homes, sheltered housing, extra care housing and the NHS.

With this in mind, we would be keen to meet with you in order to identify your particular care training needs so that we can design a package that will meet all your requirements.

Our training centre provides straightforward and practical care training in all aspects of health and safety. We have recently added our own “Care Home bedroom” providing practical care training to help those carers who are involved within the care sector.

All our care trainers are qualified to the highest standard and deliver informative, interesting and exciting courses encouraging interaction from the candidates with reasoned discussion around the subject being taught.

To meet your company’s requirements, we can deliver care courses on your premises.
