Manual Handling Instructor and Assessor

This course concentrates on providing delegates with the skills and knowledge required for undertaking manual handling risk assessments and demonstrating safe lifting techniques.

Aims of the course
The course will give delegates the ability to demonstrate safe lifting techniques in the workplace and enable them to undertake manual handling risk assessments.

  • To demonstrate safe lifting techniques
  • To conduct manual handling assessments and give recommendations on control techniques and risk reduction
  • To successfully pass a practical and theoretical examination.

Delegates must successfully demonstrate correct manual handling technique, the ability to give a presentation on safe manual handling, successfully complete a theoretical and practical examination in order to receive the manual handling Instructor and Assessor certificate.
