"Further to our recent SRB6 funding arrangement, Newcastle College have linked in with Stowan Safety to provide a variety of nationally recognised Health and Safety courses to local industry.

The training courses offered places for no more than 12 delegates per course, taking place both onsite and also at the Stowan premises in Burslem, to suit.

A total of 115 delegates were assigned to be certificated in both Abrasive Wheel training and General Health and Safety in the workplace. 61 delegates were successfully certificated in the NPORS Abrasive Wheels Training, and 54 delegates were CIEH certificated in Level II Health & Safety in the workplace. Over a dozen companies took full opportunity of the funding arrangement and their staff have benefited from the training delivered by Stowan Safety. The trainers at Stowan and Training Co-ordinator, Elaine Coyle, have proved both professional and helpful during this process."
